Welcome to the RSS Monitoring data collection website

The Strategic Leaders' Board, part of South West Councils, in its role as Regional Planning Body, is responsible for monitoring the Regional Spatial Strategy (RSS) for the South West.

South West Councils works closely with local authorities, regional partners and stakeholders to collect information on how planning policies are making a difference in the South West. The information which has been gathered is analysed and presented in the form of an Annual Monitoring Report.

This year's RSS data collection round (2008-2009) ended on 15th October, and the validation phase ended on 30th October. The collection application is now closed, and the data may now only be viewed and downloaded.
