Welcome to the RSS Monitoring data collection website

The Strategic Leaders' Board, part of South West Councils, in its role as Regional Planning Body, is responsible for monitoring the Regional Spatial Strategy (RSS) for the South West.

South West Councils works closely with local authorities, regional partners and stakeholders to collect information on how planning policies are making a difference in the South West. The information which has been gathered is analysed and presented in the form of an Annual Monitoring Report.

This year's RSS data collection round will open in mid-July. When it does, the current monitoring collection round will be gathering data for 2008/9.

Initially, this website is being run with software tracking and logging in order to pinpoint bottlenecks. As a result, some responses may be slower than optimal - please be patient!
