Paribus systems are constructed from pre-written modules, which can be combined in a number of ways to provide the required functionality. This means that you can have your staff and partner users external to your organisation working with an out-of-the-box project website within days, including forum and discussion areas, project promotion and secure logons.
We provide the building blocks that can be combined to give a wide variety of knowledge content solutions. Our systems take advantage of the low support cost of applications accessed via the users web-browser. We can also create bespoke macros or applications and other non-browser software to assist with your back-office functions, and business workflow.
Some examples of typical systems, and the modules that they would use, are shown below.
A simple content repository with online authoring would use core repository and authoring modules. Search and browse modules would provide users with access to content.
A more advanced repository might add advanced search, analysis and hierarchical browse modules for presentation, and extended knowledge administration and maintenance tools. MySpace or Shopping cart modules give users the ability to collate content.
A Paribus community-based system supports an online knowledge community with a wealth of tools, allowing contribution, search and analysis of knowledge content.
